Majura will host a Gala Day on Saturday April 27 for our Under 7, 8 and 9s to have a kick around before the season starts. Bring your team, or come individually, and we will place you into a team. More details will be in our next newsletter and on this website
Majura FC will host a Grassroots Coaching Certificate on Sunday April 28, 9am – 12 noon at Dickson Playing Fields. This course is aimed at beginner coaches of players up to 10 years of age. It is designed to give a basic understanding of the role of a coach and to provide practical ideas for training sessions. The course is free, is only three hours and participants receive an FFA Certificate. If you are interested in attending then
All Majura Coaches and Managers are invited to attend their age group meetings on the dates and times listed below. At the meeting you will be able to meet some of the Majura Committee including your age group coordinator, go through the Coaches and Managers' Handbook, get some coaching information, collect training kits, collect playing shirts, book training fields and ask questions.

Capital Football will be running 'football fun' clinics over the school holidays. Each week features 12 hours of instruction for kids ages 6-12 under the guidance of FFA qualified coaches. read
You need to be registered and have paid in order to trial. Trials are only for players who wish to be graded into the stronger divisions (the red or white teams for U/10 and U/11, or the Division 1 or 2 teams for U/12 to U/15). Trials for U/16, U/17 and U/18 teams are generally not held as players are assessed at pre-season training. Players in these age groups who wish to trial for Premier League teams can do so with a Premier League club of their choosing.
For the U12, U13 and U15 age groups trials were held on Thursday 7th March and Thursday 14th March (this later date was a replacement for Thursday 28th Feb which had to be cancelled due to
