Hi Majura Coaches and Managers,

Thank you all for your time and effort this season at Majura. You play a very important role at Majura and also in your players lives. We hope that you have enjoyed the season and we’re sure you will enjoy the off season as well. I know many of you will be going again with futsal.  Here is some end of season information:

Presentation Day Saturday September 9

Presentations for the Pee Wees to U9 teams will be in front of the clubhouse as per the time table below. Pee Wees will receive individual trophy presentations while the U/7 – U/9s will be team presentations. We will give the team their box of trophies which they can then take away and have their own individual presentation. We want the age groups to come together but we don’t want it to take too long. For the U/10 – U/18s, the team coach/manager can come and collect their trophies/medallions on Saturday morning from 9am as we know some teams will be travelling for away games.

Players Player Awards for U12 – U18 teams

Don’t forget you need to vote for a Players Player award. This year teams from U/12 – U/18 will be provided a Players Player award which is voted on by all the teams players. Coaches and Managers will need to organise their team to vote for the Players Player. Get your players to think about the player who always gives their best, who always goes to training and trains well, who is supportive of other players in the team, who sets a good example. It is not always the best player that wins this award. The Players Player award can be picked up with your medallions on Saturday morning. Please make sure that only one player receives the award. We won’t have any spare shirts to give out for dual winners. If your team votes end up in a tie then the coach and manager should make the decision.

Shirt and Equipment Return

All playing shirts and training equipment needs to be returned Saturday September 16 to the Majura clubhouse between 10am and 12noon. Please return playing shirts washed and in complete sets. Please do not return incomplete sets unless you are certain a shirt has been lost. If any shirts are missing then players will be invoiced for the shirt. Please wash bibs as well from your training kits and place in a separate bag. If you can spare an hour to help sort returned gear then please let our equipment officer, David Horner know equipment@majurafc.org.au

Futsal Shirts

Majura does not lend playing shirt sets for Futsal as North Canberra Futsal is a separate club and competition. We do have some old sets of shirts for U7-U10 age groups that can be hired ($50 bond deposit which is refunded when shirts returned intact). Let me know if you want a set as we have limited numbers and they will be hired out on a first in first served basis.
