Play in Purple July 30-31
Play in Purple raises awareness and critical funds for pancreatic cancer research and
patient support. Not many people know that pancreatic cancer is the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia, with just an 11.5% survival rate, yet it receives little or no funding for research. You can help change that.
Majura’s Play in Purple round is July 30-31. Our club sees this as a wonderful opportunity to increase player and community engagement, while supporting an important cause and we would like as many players and teams as possible to get involved in the Play in Purple round and support pancreatic cancer awareness by wearing purple socks. Purple socks are available online for $15 and must be ordered by June 24. Purple Socks come in 3 sizes so players of all ages can participate.
Winter School Holiday Games
All teams will play on the first weekend of winter school holidays, July 2-3. There will be no games for any age groups on July 9-10 weekend. There will be no games for Pee Wees through to U15 teams on July 16. Games will be played on July 16-17 weekend for Junior League U16 – U18 teams, Capital Premier League and Senior League teams.

Majura FC has Denham compression wear available at our merchandise shop at the clubhouse which is open every Saturday of the season. Now that winter’s here it’s time to get some game day compression shirts and shorts that have a second skin fit. Shirts are available in white for $55 and shorts in royal blue for $40 to match Majura uniform.

- July 16-17: Games resumes for JL U16, U18, CPL and Senior Leagues
- July 23: Games resume for Pee Wee – U15 Teams
- Sept 10: Last games and Presentation Day
