Welcome
Majura FC is a community club run largely by volunteers. We value inclusiveness and participation. We want all our players to develop football skills that will enable them to enjoy the game for life no matter what level they play. We hope that you will enjoy your time at Majura FC and welcome feedback and help at any time.
Saturday 6 August 2022
All Games at Dickson Fields on Saturday 6 August are Cancelled.
ACT Sportsgrounds have closed all turf fields this weekend, 6-7 August due to the heavy rain this week. Fields are saturated and any training or games will cause damage to the playing surfaces. Radford College, Marist College and Queanbeyan Council fields are all closed as well.
We expect there will be more field closures and game cancellations so for updates check out Capital Football’s Inclement Weather page here.
Play in Purple July 30-31
Play in Purple raises awareness and critical funds for pancreatic cancer research and patient support. Not many people know that pancreatic cancer is the 3rd biggest cancer killer in Australia, with just an 11.5% survival rate, yet it receives little or no funding for research. You can help change that.
Majura’s Play in Purple round is this weekend, July 30-31. Our club sees this as a wonderful opportunity to increase player and community engagement, while supporting an important cause and we would like as many players and teams as possible to get involved in the Play in Purple round and support pancreatic cancer awareness by wearing purple socks or accessories. Majura FC will be selling all things purple tomorrow so everyone can be involved. See you there!
