Annual General Meeting Postponed to Sunday 26 March
Due to some work being done in the meeting room and member availability, the AGM and Coaches and Managers Meetings will need to be postponed a week. the new date and time will be:

at the Majura Clubhouse
Majura FC is a community organisation run mostly by volunteers who want to see everyone playing and enjoying football (soccer). There are a number of current committee members who are retiring this year (including our President, Treasurer, Registrar, Referee Coordinator and Grounds Coordinator), so we really need some new volunteers to step up. Please consider taking on a role at the AGM and if you can’t take on a committee role then still come along and vote for others!
New Date for Coaches and Managers Meetings
Due to the need to postpone the AGM we are also postponing the coaches and managers meetings so they align with the AGM. The new dates and times for the meetings are:

Sunday 26 March at the Majura Clubhouse
- 4.00pm | U6-U9 Coaches and Managers Meeting
- 5.00pm | Majura AGM
- 5.30pm | U10-U18 Coaches and Managers Meeting
Coaches and Managers will be able to collect their training kits and U10-U18 teams will be able to collect their playing shirts. Please bring your WWVP card to the meeting as club officials need to sight the card before training kits are taken. The meetings will cover everything you need to know about the club, training, game days and what your responsibilities are as a coach or manager. You can ask questions as well.
Field Closures
All ACT Sportsgrounds are closed for maintenance for the next two weeks (March 18-31) so that means no training at Dickson, Watson, Hackett, Lyneham or Downer Fields until 1 April. If your team can find a school oval to train on then let our Club Adminstrator, info (at) majurafc.org.au, know so we can make a booking and provide the school with our insurance coverage.
Team Allocations
If your child is in an U10 – U16 team then you should have received notice of their team. If you haven’t then please contact the Majura Registrar, registrar (at) majurafc.org.au, to check their registration status.
We are currently organising all U6 – U9 teams and fingers crossed, we will have teams sorted by the end of the week. If you haven’t registered your child yet in those age groups, then do so now otherwise they may miss out on a team.
And just a reminder that this is the club’s busiest time of year so responses to your emails may take a little longer. Be patient and kind and we will eventually resolve any concerns or issues you have.
