Majura Player Grading Dates
Due to hot weather, storms, clashes with futsal, school camps and school functions, the last round of player gradings at Majura has changed again. Tonight’s grading is on, and the final grading will be next Monday night. These are the updated dates for our final junior grading.
Wednesday 22 and Monday 27 February 2023
- 5.30-6.45pm U10 Open
- 5.30-6.45pm U13 Open
- 7.00-8.15pm U15/16/18 Open
Players should register on Play Football before grading. Players should attend both grading sessions. Players already selected in Majura’s Emerging Player squads do not need to attend these sessions.
Majura Goalkeeper Trials
Goalkeeper trials have had to be postponed due to selector availability changing at late notice. Trials will now be held next Wednesday at Dickson Fields. We apologise for the inconvenience, but we didn’t want to miss the opportunity to have our Canberra United Goal Keepers selecting at Majura FC.

Majura Registrations Still Open
Majura registrations are open for season 2023. Please register on Play Football if you wish to be in a Majura team for the coming season. More information about the season is available on the Majura website.
Women Players Wanted
Majura’s Womens Division 5 and 6 teams are looking for some extra players for this season. No matter what level you’re at, new to the game or a veteran, you’ll fit in with these teams who are about enjoying football with friends. Please email the Club Administrator if you would like to join a team.
Wanted: Women’s Div 2 Coach
Majura’s Womens Division 2 team is looking for a coach this season. The team have been playing together for a few years and are well organised and pretty self-contained, but they need a new coach. They are training on Tuesday nights and play on Sundays. If you’re looking for a rewarding coaching job, then this is it. Please email the Club Administrator if you’re keen.
Equipment Working Bee
Every season we need volunteers to help sort, maintain and repair our equipment. We need volunteers on Saturday 4 March for setting up junior team training kits. The Working Bee will start at 9am and if we have enough volunteers we’ll be done in a few hours. Please contact equipment(at)majurafc.org.au if you can help.
2023 Annual General Meeting
The Majura AGM will take place on Sunday 19 March at the Majura Clubhouse prior to the Coaches and Managers Meeting. The club is largely run with volunteers and this year we need some new committee members. The following positions are still vacant:

- Registrar
- Grounds Coordinator
Please consider stepping up and filling one of these positions.
