Miniroos have kicked off so what’s next?
Hello Majura Football Families,
Just a quick note to say how absolutely wonderful it is to be back on the pitch seeing our kids playing football again. A part of our world is somewhat back to normal. Having said that I want to thank everyone who came to the fields last Saturday for maintaining social distancing and putting up with our new method of queueing for the bbq and canteen (no matter how long you line up, Rhonda's food is always worth it!)
We are back again on Saturday with our U5-U9 Miniroos. If you see our club captains David and Charlotte walking around stop them and kick the ball around. We are still planning on a July 18 start for all age groups from U10 up to our Senior teams. They are all out training and very keen to get some game time.
Just a friendly reminder to all of our spectators in the interest of safety, can you please watch the game at least a couple of paces off of the sideline. I saw some eager spectators last weekend right up on the sideline and some even spilling onto the pitch. I appreciate the enthusiasm but I would hate to
