To the Majura Football Community,
It is with deep regret I announce the season comes to an end this Saturday. It means no more cheering on the teams from the side lines, no more encouragement from the coaches, no more of the beautiful game. I hope that everyone has some great memories from the season to last them until 2019.
As with every year, I want to send out a heartfelt thank you to all our club volunteers which include but not limited to the spectacular Majura Committee, the wonderful Age Group Coordinators, the enthusiastic team Coaches, the super team Managers and to all those other wonderful volunteers (you know who you are), that just give up some of their time on Saturdays to helping out around the club. I want to call out the club Game Leaders and Referees who did a marvellous job this year. I want to thank all the parents, carers and friends who braved the cold winter days to bring the players to the games and cheer them on from the sidelines.
I want to say thank you to the Parkins. Rhonda Parkin who runs the best canteen out of all the ACT football clubs and Bob

Capital Football needs to share with all clubs in relation to fixtures against Belsouth FC and the closure of the Muranji Street Hawker fields for the remainder of the season as the ACT Government starts work there.
Please ensure that you remind all your teams to have a look at SportsTG for their games this weekend and for the remainder of the season as they have been updated and will show the specific field that each game will be played on.

Majura FC Coach of the Year Selection Procedure 2018
Authority for Procedure
The Authority for this policy and its maintenance is the Majura Football Club
The Majura FC (MFC) Coach of the Year award is an opportunity for the club to celebrate and
promote thevaluable contribution coaches at all levels make each season. MFC defines worthy
coaches for this award not by how many wins or loses they have during the season, but the long-
lasting impact that they have onthe development and enjoyment of their players.
Great coaches, in the Committees opinion, are also dedicated to continual learning, mentoring
and personal growth, which is the sign of someone willing to be better each time they coach.
Nominees can be nominated from any level within the club, Under 6 through to Masters.
To be eligible for the Coach of the Year award, Nominees must:
have coached with Majura FC in the season that the award will bemade;
must have a valid Working with Vulnerable People Card (WWVP); and
must have had no informal/formal disciplinary issues over the season.
Nominations will be assessed against the following criteria:
makes team work and development the priority of the game, not a personal desire
ensures all players get the same opportunities

Dear Majura Football Club Community,
Well how time flies as we find ourselves this Saturday just over half way through the Junior League competition season.
Each Saturday for me brings the joys of our junior and senior competitions, the cheer of the spectators, the sounds of the coaches directing the teams and the smiles of the players faces when they know they've played a great game and had a great time. So, coupled with the World Cup – I think this is a close as it gets to football nirvana. Just amazing.
At this stage, I usually thank all the volunteers for their work and assistance over the season thus far. I am not going to break from that tradition as you all are worth your weight in gold and are highly valued by your Club. Thank you for everything you do, the Club could not run as smoothly as it does without you.
I want to congratulate one part of the Club that has had
